Maintenance Service Manager (Black Seal Licensed)
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Service Manager to oversee a condominium's building systems, common areas, mechanical equipment, and maintenance staff. A valid Black Seal Boiler Operator License is required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee HVAC, boilers, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and life safety systems
- Perform and coordinate repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance
- Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff
- Respond to resident maintenance requests and emergencies
- Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety requirements
- Participate in emergency on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Qualifications
- At least five years of commercial or residential building maintenance experience and three years of supervisory experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills, with basic carpentry, drywall, and painting abilities
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe work practices
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance technology
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school education preferred
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
