Compliance Inspector-Canyon Gate

The Compliance Inspector plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for homeowner compliance issues and accurately recording findings. This role will include general administrative duties.

Compensation:

$21 hourly rate

Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are to limited to:

  • Perform weekly/monthly inspections by driving throughout property identifying non-compliant matters on homeowner lots.
  • Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing and electronically.
  • Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
  • Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
  • Possibly attend monthly executive session meetings with the community manager.
  • Complete owner letters.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance requirements (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
  • Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
  • Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.


Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience


Licenses and Certifications

  • Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to provide proof of a valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle insurance (vehicle will be provided for inspections).


Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment, often outside environment exposure while conducting compliance inspections.
