Apartment Maintenance Technician- Abundant Life

WPM Real Estate Management, is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician at Abundant Life Towers 1/2. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to maintenance work orders, performing preventative maintenance as directed, and preparing units for move-in.

We’re looking for someone who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service skills are essential, and prior experience in residential maintenance is preferred.

Service Technician – HVAC Certified/CAM-T

Location: Baltimore, MD

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM/Emergency On Call required

Starting Hourly Rate: $26.00+ (Pay based on experience and certifications)+ Phone allowance

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for responding to maintenance requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring apartments are move-in ready. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to uphold our standards of safety, quality, and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems (HVAC certification required)
• Perform electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
• Hang, prep, and sand drywall
• Repair and maintain appliances
• Paint apartments and common areas
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across the property
• Assist with snow removal as needed
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in residential or property maintenance
• Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 85 lbs
• Must be available for on-call emergency coverage
