Zumba/Group Fitness Instructor (Part-Time) – Trilogy at Redmond Ridge (Redmond, WA)

Trilogy at Redmond Ridge, an upscale, resort-style, 55 and overactive-adult community, is seeking a qualified Group Fitness Instructor. The successful candidate will provide cutting-edge group fitness instruction through a variety of entertaining, educational, and fun classes that promote fitness and positive self-esteem in a safe environment.

About Us:

Trilogy at Redmond Ridge is a private, members-only Club offering an indoor pool, group fitness classes, a fitness center, personal training, and our very own Tranquility Spa that provides massage, facials, and waxing.

Compensation: $35-$50 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent workout experiences to our members in each class.
• Act as a fitness resource for class participants and maintain positive relationships with members to encourage continued class attendance.
• Adhere to class descriptions and modify intensity for participants when necessary.
• Ensure classes begin and end on time.
• Teach respective classes on a regular basis.
• Maintain current knowledge of basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and exercise modifications & progressions, especially for older active adults.
• Continue professional development and education.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must possess a current fitness certification.
• Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification.
• Knowledge and/or training in working with active older adults.
• Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing personality.
• Specialty certifications such as Zumba Gold, Hip Hop, or Kick Boxing are a plus but not required.
