Job Description

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Arrive to work with all equipment and uniform clean and presentable
  • Maintains radio communication via earpiece
  • Maintain cleanliness of Fitness Center and changing rooms.
  • Cleaning and stocking gym equipment
  • replacing/refreshing amenities,
  • removing and replacing towels
  • Replacing trash liners daily in changing room, gym, and pool deck
  • Clean and maintain all pool and beach furniture: lounges, tables, umbrellas, cushions
  • Sweep and maintain pool deck and grass area, remove sand and debris daily
  • Stock towel cabinet, to be full at all times
  • Clean towel cabinet daily, wipe glass and frame.
  • Clean pool shower area, remove debris from floor, polish fixtures
  • Check that pool pump is on and pool is at correct level, report any issues to Maintenance
  • Clean glass on outdoor patio area
  • Clean glass on outdoor exit door
  • Clean glass on Cabanas
  • Remove any debris floating in pool, alert Maintenance of any issues that require pool service company.
  • Remove any trash or debris around pool area, planters, landscaping
  • Empty all trash receptacles and transport trash to disposal area
  • Report any unsafe conditions
  • Weekdays -- weather permitting - Set Up Beach daily with minimum of 20 chairs and 10 umbrellas. Chairs to be set as close as possible to the water, and in a straight line.
  • Weekends -- weather permitting - Set Up Beach daily with minimum of 32-40 chairs and 17-20 umbrellas. Chairs to be set as close as possible to the water, and in a straight line.
  • Set up beach tent, and have available clean towels, chair covers, menus, and cold waters.
  • Log beach usage on log sheet and turn into Front Desk at end of day.
  • Store any unused equipment securely and safely.
  • Safely and securely secure all equipment at the end of day
  • Proactively provide customer service by offering choice of sitting area, towels, menu, and water.
  • Check in with customers through out their visit to ensure satisfaction
  • When closing the beach, all trash left behind is removed, equipment is put away and locked
  • Maintain communication with property manager and front desk
  • Secure all keys at end of shift
  • Enforce rules as needed.
  • Able to work independently and under minor supervision
  • Maintain stock of all supplies, report shortages or damages to equipment immediately
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

 

Qualifications and Training

 

  • Must be able to communicate (written and verbal) in both English & Spanish.

 

Physical Demands

 

  • Employee is required to stand for extended periods of times.
  • Required to lift/ or move up to 50lbs.
  • Employee works in an outdoor environment at certain properties and under inclement weather.

 

Reasoning Abilities

 

  • Apply common sense and understanding to carry out daily duties and to handle daily operations of the business.
  • Make customer service-based decisions based on the policies and procedures of the company and according to training guidelines.

 

Work Environment

 

  • Must be able to multitask and work effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to work alongside other team members and willing to take on tasks typically not required while on shift.
  • Employee must be capable of handling difficult situations in a professional manner.
  • Employee is responsible for limiting/restricting alcoholic beverages in the case that a resident or guest is showing evident signs of intoxication.
  • Hours and schedule are subject to change to according to the needs of the business.
  • Job duties can change and evolve as business needs change.
