WELLNESS ATTENDANT - Trilogy at Monarch Dunes (Nipomo, CA)

The Wellness Attendant assists the fitness staff as they team together to execute courteous and rapid service to Members in the Fitness Area and Sports Club. Other duties may be assigned as required.

Pay Rate: Starting at $17.00 DOE

Job Duties:

Responsible for offering superior customer service to Sports Club members and Spa guests.
Maintenance and organization of equipment in Spa & Fitness Locker Room areas.
Replenishes supply of clean towels in Spa & Fitness Locker Rooms throughout the shift.
Inspects and maintains Spa & Fitness stations for neatness and cleanliness.
Demonstrates function of Spa & Fitness equipment, proper use, and techniques.
Responsible for inventory of point-of-sale items, currency and maintains current supply.
As court attendant, responsible for greeting and checking in Members and Guests, providing rental equipment, and adhering to scheduling procedures.
The Spa & Fitness Attendant shall maintain effective communication with Members, Guests, and fellow team members. Also, a Fitness Attendant must have the ability to properly greet guests.
Outstanding customer service, written and verbal communication skills.

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected
Must be able to consistently achieve high work standards, attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness a must.

Skills:

A Fitness Attendant must have a High School Diploma, or in the process of.
Minimum 1-year fitness center and customer service experience.
Previous experience in Private Country Club preferred.
Knowledge of Fitness, Aquatics and Sports Industry

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the Fitness Attendant is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
