Job Description

  • Responsible for managing nation-wide warranty work orders from request to completion.
  • Manage and coordinate all material deliveries/orders and repairs with vendors, homeowners, and internal employees.
  • Responsible for internally documenting and tracking warranty tasks relevant to each work order and reporting weekly.
  • Responsible to prompt communication and responses with home owners and/or community managers related to open work orders.
  • Follow up and ensure completion of all service repairs and holding vendors accountable for results.
  • Collaborate with Project team on warrantable and non-warrantable construction items and associated warranty expiration dates.
  • Responsible for vendor search and onboarding related to warranty work orders.
  • Managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Responsible for achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for escalating urgent issues to leadership.
  • Lead or support task force teams for key warranty concerns.
  • Participate in job closeout meetings and knowledge transfer from project team to warranty.
  • Communicate and ask questions about any part of project scope that is unclear.
  • Responsible to cultivate positive working relationships with homeowners, community managers, vendors, and internal employees.
  • Responsible for reviewing and validating invoices related to warranty repairs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years work experience in related field, preferably in multi-family residential construction.
  • Have exceptional skills in listening, communications, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
  • Follow up and follow through consistently to deliver outstanding service.
  • Have excellent time management, organizational, and scheduling skills.
  • Experience working in an environment with rapidly shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
  • Ability to listen and respond to specific requests as directed by leadership.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally on multiple levels in written and verbal form.
  • Must be familiar with phases of construction and building components, specifically residential.
  • Must be familiar with exterior building components.
  • Competency with ERP systems, such as Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook.
