Our team is growing, and we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Community Operations to help lead our team and enhance our communities.

 

In This Crucial Role, You’ll

 

  • Guide the implementation of a company-wide strategy for community management services
  • Participate in the market’s strategic planning process and support implementation and tracking of key initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, regional leadership team members, community-based team members, and clients
  • Evaluate and recommend initiatives that can positively impact company and client success
  • Develop staff to self-manage appropriate initiative, risk mitigation, innovative thinking, accountability, and autonomy in their roles
  • Represent CCMC at in-market industry and community events to support community association involvement and business development

 

What You’ll Accomplish

 

  • Overseeing a portfolio of clients and a team of Community Managers to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Facilitating action plans relative to retention efforts of at-risk clients, including stepping in as acting Community Manager, as necessary
  • Implementing client education opportunities within the market and client portfolio
  • Nurturing client relationships to ensure open lines of communication client satisfaction, and retention
  • Tracking key metrics and service level targets to ensure community management contract deliverables are fulfilled and client needs are met
  • Building a flexible, responsive, well-respected team with a high sense of urgency and passionate focus on client need
  • Facilitating, developing, and leading a diverse and robust team
  • Implementing and ensuring appropriate policies and procedures for all community management-related operational areas
  • Understanding the laws and processes involved in community management and effectively transferring that knowledge to others
  • Evaluating and advising on the impact of federal and state regulatory and legislative actions
  • Overseeing community transition the process to ensure success and retention (developer and management)
  • Supporting the client budget and financial review processes to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and financial stability

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in community association management (or similar)
  • CCMC tenure of two years, highly preferred
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience as a manager or supervisor
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Appropriate state license and industry designations
  • CAM license required upon hire in Florida and Georgia (within 90 days of hire in all other states)
  • CAI PCAM designation preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in an innovative manner
  • Sound understanding of financial processes, budgeting, and financial statements
  • Exceptional computer literacy
  • The ability to travel is required
