Who Are We Looking For?

VP Communications:

The mission of AppFolio’s VP Communications is to lead the strategy and execution of a wide range of robust communications and experiences to support our business strategy, evolve AppFolio’s brand image, and nurture our culture.

This role reports into GM, Growth & Chief Strategy Officer

What you will be doing:

  • Create strategic corporate internal and external communications plan that amplify the APPF brand and business growth aligned with the priorities of the Company and CEO
  • Create APPF Factsheets and operate APPF “Newsroom” press-friendly page with links to press releases, AppFolio Facts, leadership bios, approved headshots, official logos, and Comms Team contact information
  • Dramatically elevate AppFolio’s corporate brand image and credibility - inspiring confidence with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Conceptualize and shape the internal and external “brands” of our CEO and Leadership team. Executive Activation.
  • Improve our Financial Communications to investors and BoD audiences to convey the strategy narrative and quarterly financial performance
  • Refresh AppFolio's executive communications strategy and deploy media relations, thought leadership, and executive communications with employees, to ignite employee (and candidate) excitement about AppFolio as an attractive and fast-growing great place to work.
  • Enable creative internal communications strategy and programs that foster employee connection, alignment, and satisfaction ultimately to drive business and growth goals.
  • Build and lead a high performing communications team
