Job Description

The Transitions Team Supervisor will manage all Transitions Specialists and all aspects of Association transition in or out processes. This is a financial support position in a fast-paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America. Candidates for this position must meet Associa’ s credit requirements.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Recommend appropriate staffing mix, roles, and skillsets of Transitions Team.
  • Design onboarding and training program for Transitions team.
  • Establish annual team goals & report performance to goals.
  • Manage attendance, conduct, and performance of staff in Transitions, including hiring, training, performance reviews, disciplinary action, and separation.
  • Establish annual goals and development plans for each member of Transitions staff.
  • Act as process owner for vendor Mastering process, to include:
  • Standard Operating Procedures, and other process documentation.
  • Process maps.
  • Key controls.
  • Process improvements and tool enhancements.
  • Establish Vendor team SLA’s.
  • Process Vendor Exception Requests and approved process exceptions.
  • Handle escalated issues or requests from leadership at the Client Shared Services Center and/or Branch.
  • Maintain Department Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports as required and analyze trends.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Detail-oriented
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience in customer service preferred

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Complete Control for Communities (C3) software preferred but not required
  • Understanding of or experience in the Community Association Management Industry preferred but not required
  • Experience working in an Accounting Shared Services Center environment preferred but not required

 

Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years’ financial/accounting operations experience.
  • 1+ years’ onboarding experience preferred.
  • 2+ years’ management / supervisory experience preferred.
