About the job

The Training Coordinator supports the overall function of the Talent department team in the organization. They have full responsibility over coordination for all technical and behavioral training programs and facilitation of select training programs. The coordinator manages the company learning management system and all training events.

 

The Training Coordinator provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group. He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of Castle Royal Service.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assists in maintaining updates to new employee orientation and onboarding programs and serves as room moderator as needed
  • Manages all LMS administration, maintaining all LMS data current and up to date to ensure accurate data is being fed into the system for accurate reporting
  • Manages and updates all materials including maintenance of LMS and company curricula
  • Manages and owns all learning communications to communicate learning offerings
  • Designs and develops training and course materials as needed
  • Supports creation and distribution of mandatory training completion reports
  • Creates online learning modules using best practices for e-Learning
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with required workplace training and education
  • Manages and provides materials inventory for all talent events
  • Coordinates all talent event logistics and supports Castle events as needed
  • Responsible for completing project tasks efficiently, ensuring all project deadlines, milestones, and deliverables are met
  • Supports the Annual Awards program logistics and organization of awards for the company
  • Delivers and facilitates training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques as needed
  • Always maintains professional image and confidentiality of all company records and information.
  • May perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Associates degree with concentration in business or human resources management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years, in a training or human resources role; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with learning management systems and content development preferred.
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Outstanding customer service, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software required; specifically, knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment. Work and use time effectively based on key priorities, under tight deadlines while maintaining composure.
  • Ability to engage and influence people
  • Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish/English)
