You will be focused on entry to mid-level roles across both tech and non-tech, including some high-volume roles. The ideal candidate excels in sourcing and screening top talent, follows processes meticulously, effectively influences hiring leaders, and consistently achieves challenging goals while ensuring an excellent candidate experience.

Your impact

  • Execute full-cycle recruiting process for multiple tech and non-tech client groups ensuring a smooth, timely, and exceptional candidate experience.
  • Partner seamlessly with department leaders, FP&A, and HRBPs, developing and implementing sourcing strategies tailored to the roles.
  • Meet hiring plans and drive hiring best practices, paying high attention to detail to the processes in place.
  • Attract great talent from diverse backgrounds to power our growth.
  • Source passive candidates from internet databases, social media, contact lists, internal databases, job boards, and employee referrals, getting creative where necessary.
  • Generate a high volume/high-quality pipeline of active and passive candidates for multiple requisitions under very tight timelines.
  • Leverage data, reports, and performance metrics to improve recruiting effectiveness and influence change.
  • Engage the process for a fair and equitable experience with every candidate.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates to create promoters of the AppFolio employment brand.
  • Provide ongoing updates, metrics, and guidance to hiring managers and members of the hiring team.
  • Lead, drive, and participate in ad hoc Talent Acquisition project work.
  • Support university/recruiting events as needed.


Qualifications

  • Sourcing, Lead Generation, & Pipeline Management: Develops sourcing strategies for hard-to-find technical talent, diagnoses issues, and makes recommendations to clients. Identifies, qualifies, and hires high-performing candidates.
  • Communication: Attracts candidates and influences client groups through excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple clients/hiring managers at once. Maintains the utmost confidentiality at all times.
  • Collaboration: Seeks and implements feedback from others. Patient, communicative team player with outstanding interpersonal skills. Accustomed to working in highly collaborative/high-performing TA/HR teams.
  • Business Acumen: Understands business priorities, can foresee the potential impact on the organization from a people perspective, and analyzes and uses data to make recommendations or decisions. Broad knowledge of software/SaaS business operations.
  • Discretion & Sound Judgement: Ability to exercise discretion, judgment, & tact within defined procedures/practices to navigate the hiring process, effectively resolving issues. Ability to leverage metrics and data to manage recruiting efficiency and general process improvements.
  • Prioritization and Planning Skills: Organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance requisition load, projects/goals, and real-time demands. Proven ability to achieve budget headcount targets while maintaining high candidate quality.
  • A true Talent Advisor: acts as a trusted consultant rather than an order taker.


Must have

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including specialized recruiting for technical and professional roles in a SaaS or similar high-tech environment.


Compensation & Benefits

The base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is $80,000-$120,000.

The actual base salary for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.

Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
