WPM located in Owings Mills, MD is in need of a Technical Project Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for overseeing technology-based projects, including vendor management, and implementation of processes. The successful candidate will also assist company with initiatives for IT portion of new business; and on-boarding and off-boarding properties as needed. After an initial period, this position has an option to become a hybrid remote/in-office position.

Essential Functions

• Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manager resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Track project costs in order to meet budget
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Utilize industry and Company best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas of improvement

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Self-motivator with demonstrated track record of working effectively with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with all levels of users within an organization
• Ability to think critically, including situations requiring urgency
• Proven ability in technical support and/or troubleshooting
• Knowledge of IT with networking
• Familiarity of multi-site operation
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 years overseeing technology-based projects
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
