Job Description

Tax & Audit Administrative Assistant job responsibilities
- Monitor emails for department
- Receive/save documents to server
- Upload tax or audit documents to the community’s document folder
- Send standard emails to HOA board members for signing of tax returns and representation letters
- Generate standard financial reports and uploads for auditors
- Look up for exemption and/or status with states
- Prepare CA annual reports for review and submission to AP for payment
- Assist will filing of documents
- Ensure all necessary documents are uploaded by transition team
- Maintain master community listing with tax and audit information
- Other miscellanies tasks assigned by manager
- Hands on experience with mid-tier accounting software applications a plus
- Strong interpersonal/communication (written and verbal) skills
- Ability to follow established standard operating procedures and meet deadlines
- Tax preparation / knowledge is a plus
- Able to work independently
- Must be detailed oriented
