The Talent Management Program Manager will play a critical role in delivering programs that motivate, engage and develop AppFolio employees. This position will be responsible for AppFolio’s annual Performance Management and Engagement programs, as well as other key Talent Management programs.

Your impact

  • Support AppFolio’s people strategy through meticulous management of our Talent Management programs
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and scale our programs
  • Lead AppFolio’s annual performance management program including Check-Ins, Feedback, and Development Plans
  • Define and lead AppFolio’s Engagement program, inclusive of our pulse/annual surveys to understand employee engagement and opportunities
  • Support the Director, Talent Management in additional Talent Management programs (e.g. Succession Planning and Talent Reviews)
  • Provide support to the HRBP team as they navigate our various talent management systems & processes with the business; assess and prioritize bespoke solutions for business specific needs
  • Collaborate with other HR COEs (e.g. L&D, Compensation, DEI, etc) to ensure alignment across other HR programs and processes

Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously. Leverages project team members and drives the team to meet milestones.
  • Ability to refine and navigate processes for maximum efficiency with high data integrity and a metrics-driven approach. Evaluates and recommends new tools/technology changes as necessary.
  • Speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative. Maintains this standard in all forms of written communications, including email.
  • Ability to analyze data and boil it down into digestible, actionable stories.
  • Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the table with a plan for how best to implement.
  • Is a team player and easily gains trust and support of peers. Development and use of collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work
  • Exercises discretion, judgment, tact,and poise in handling highly sensitive, and confidential information.

Must have

  • BA/BS, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Design, or relevant field.
  • Minimum 5+ years HR program management experience, preferably in Talent Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in and manage ambiguity – dealing with issues that do not always have a process or a system in place.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $88,000-$132,000

The actual base salary for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.

Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
