Summary

The People, Strategy & Operations (PSO) team supports and sustains the company’s growth by hiring talented industry professionals, providing growth opportunities, and partnering with leadership to optimize team performance. Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Talent Sourcing: Proactively source potential candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and employee referrals, to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Screening & Interviewing: Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process.
  • ATS Management: Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and recruitment activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Job Advertising: Assist in drafting and posting compelling job advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Reference & Background Checks: Conduct reference checks and background verifications to ensure candidate suitability.
  • Event Participation: Participate in job fairs and other recruitment events to promote the company and attract talent.
  • Onboarding Support: Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive candidate experience from start to finish.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the VP, People, and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop strategic recruitment plans to meet those needs.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive intelligence, and best practices in recruitment.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Support diversity and inclusion initiatives by actively seeking diverse candidates and promoting an inclusive hiring process.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Assist in preparing recruitment reports and analytics to provide insights and recommendations for improving the recruitment process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of innovative recruitment strategies. Update workers’ compensation packets annually per State to ensure we are using up-to-date forms.
  • Assist with other PSO projects and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • At least two years of recruiting experience or other related experience
  • Knowledge of employment law, multi-state knowledge desirable
  • High school diploma or equivalent, associate's degree a plus
  • Proficient using social media, digital job boards and other websites to identify new talent sources
  • HR certificate or SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) designation a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Teams and ATS software
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with managers, candidates and colleagues.
  • Strong follow-up and time management skills

Availability

Regular business hours and after regular business hours, as necessary.
