Job Description

The recruiting manager provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to the hiring managers and support staff of KWPM. Responsible for interviewing and referring applicants for administrative and management positions throughout the Company. Considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all functions in the Company, a basic understanding of the Company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

 

Duties and Essential Functions

• Lead recruitment efforts for the company which include; place job opening ads, attend industry related job fairs, partner with local universities' career center, and manage internal candidate database.

• Identify top candidates for current and prospective clients.

• Follow up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing orientation checklist, completing candidate evaluation form, sending out rejections letters to applicants, etc.

• Manage various online job boards and the company's career site.

• Manage Applicant Tracking and HRIS.

• Lead weekly staffing meetings

• Conduct training for our hiring managers to insure that KWPM core values are at the forefront of our selection and hiring process. Training will also include the legal implications of not hiring correctly.

• "Promote from within" policy, should be, involved in the posting program. Under this program openings at all levels are posted, and employees can apply for any position for which they feel qualified.

• Act as liaison with area employment agencies, preparation and liaison with advertising agencies, processing and checking advertising agency billings, liaison with temporary agencies, recording status of authorized positions within the corporations, employment verifications, employee referral program.

Fills senior-level positions as well as positions in operations and management.

• Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.

• Manages recruiting team.

• Works closely with hiring managers to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs.

This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image.

 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position manages the recruiters & recruitment coordinator and is responsible for the performance management of this employee.

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the company”

 

Travel

This position requires occasional travel throughout the regions in which we have team members located for training and new client purposes. A valid FL driver's license is required.

 

Required Education and Experience

• Prior experience in a related position; a minimum of 3-year experience.

• Bachelor’s degree

• Working knowledge of computer and associated programs; MS Office Suite.

• Ability to multi-task, set, and manage priorities.

• Excellent written and communication skills.

• Ability to lead a team to execute on the company’s mission.
