The Sr. Marketing Programs Manager for AppFolio Investment Manager plans and executes prospecting strategy and programs in partnership with Business Development Representatives, Sales and Marketing leaders. You will leverage combined marketing and sales insights to create highly targeted marketing plans as well as establish clearly defined success metrics to closely monitor performance and make adjustments to optimize. This role will employ a full funnel, multi-touch approach, integrating channels like account-based marketing, email, direct mail, digital advertising and web to engage target audiences and provide relevant messaging and compelling offers at each step of the buyer’s journey.

This role works closely with Product Marketing, Creative Services, BDRs, and Sales to drive the execution and success of the marketing programs plan.

Your impact:

  • Lead team in weekly Planning meeting and performance tracking, Review and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights
  • Continue to build customer acquisition growth, coupled with deep experience in running an effective performance growth engine across paid, owned and earned media, in partnership with marketing teams
  • Continue to identify ways to differentiate us in the market that will motivate whitespace to switch
  • Know the database of accounts inside and out in order to craft relevant and highly targeted omni-channel campaigns in partnership with Sales and Marketing channel leaders
  • Build comprehensive account-based marketing programs plan & engagement strategy that crosses the digital-to-physical divide.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to drive demand with key personas creating marketing qualified leads that sales can close.
  • Define the quarterly ICP and target accounts lists in partnership with Product Marketing, Operations, BDRs, Sales & Marketing.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize a nurture strategy (including email + retargeting + intent) to support list build efforts, account append, and overall segment outcomes.
  • Facilitate the creation of product collateral and sales enablement tools (decks, social proof, talk tracks, emails) that leverage decision-maker/influencer insights to match messaging with top priority pain points/needs.
  • Be proactive in evaluating content and program performance, feed insights back into the team and adjust strategy as needed for optimal conversion rates and engagement.
  • In partnership with the Events team coordinate pre and post event communication as well as event engagement strategy and presence.


Qualifications:

  • Experience working at a B2B technology company, preferably SaaS
  • A strong partner who can collaborate cross-functionally, manage by influence, and hold your own in discussions with senior leaders
  • Someone with strong attention to detail to ensure everything we create for top accounts is of the highest quality and maintains brand standards
  • Experience using Project management tools to keep projects on track and ensure they are completed on time
  • A flexible mindset. You may need to pivot when a top account needs attention or a new opportunity comes up that aligns with our key business outcomes.
  • A Self-starter who can initiate and complete new projects, measure the impact and scale as necessary


Must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in driving meaningful customer engagement through marketing strategies and tactics


Compensation & Benefits

The base salary/hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $ 107,000.00 - 148,000.00

The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.

Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
