What We’re Looking For

We are searching for a Senior DevOps Engineer - a thought leader who can devise creative engineering solutions to manage the workflow and operations of software development, implement engineering tools and possess an intimate knowledge of the software development process. This leader has a track record of collaboration with team members and customers (developers, engineers) in an Agile environment to consistently deliver business value.

This person should have proven experience with the full spectrum of the software engineering value stream (e.g. build, integration, releasing / deployment and application reliability & performance testing.

About You

• Extensive knowledge in DevOps tools and practices, Enterprise standards and security.
• Knowledge and understanding the main concepts of Object Oriented programming and Test-Driven Development.
• Advanced level of scripting and automation skills.
• Ability to gain an understanding of processes and issues, and clearly communicate them back.
• Ability to work in teams and individually when needed.
• Team player who is eager to help others to succeed through mentoring and leading by example.
• Strong customer focus and confident in making critical decisions independently in a fast paced and demanding environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and a global distributed team.
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication. Able to explain complex solutions in easy-to-understand terms.
• Local to New York preferred, Open to fully remote for the right candidate (ideally located in EST/CST).

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of DevOps Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience managing AWS resources (EKS, VPC, S3, IAM, EC2, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience using build and deployment tools (GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience with coding and scripting (Powershell, Shell/Bash, Python, SQL, JavaScript, Ruby, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience managing Kubernetes (Kustomize, Helm, ArgoCD/Fleet, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform

Nice to Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Networking: (Virtual Networks, LoadBalancing, DNS, Cloudflare, SSL, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience in Monitoring and Alerting: (NewRelic, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch/Azure Monitor)
• Security Tools: (Code Scan: Sonar, Snyk – Compliance: PCI, CIS, NIST, etc.)
• Backup and Disaster Recovery

• Annual base salary range: $128,000 - $142,000 (Please Note: This range does not reflect any target or discretionary bonuses or applicable commissions)
