Responsibilities:

Responds to and handles guest requests and concerns in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Anticipates guest’s needs, responds promptly and acknowledges all guests.
• Maintains positive guest relations at all times.
• Prepares all varieties of coffee in accordance with department standards.
• Serves all food courses and non-alcoholic beverage items to guests in accordance with department standards and function requirements.
• Clears courses following all department procedures.
• Remove tabletop items, linen and equipment from the function room as designated by function requirements in accordance with department standards.
• Maintains complete knowledge of Table/seat/section numbers, capacity, hours of operations, proper table set up and dress code for the restaurant
• Maintains knowledge of all menu items, prices, prep time and method, major ingredients, quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation.
• Relays daily specials with brief descriptions, answer all questions on menu selections accurately and offer suggestions
• Position reports to the bar/restaurant supervisor
• Retrieving food orders for servers from kitchen in an accurate a quick fashion. Insuring the food is delivered to the correct guest
• Must be able to read and understand the restaurant(pos) computer and its function
• Removing dirty dishes/silverware/glasses from table
