This Senior QA Engineer will advise, motivate and lead a group of QA Engineers, propose maintainable solutions, identify best practices and troubleshoot the most difficult issues. You will be working closely with the Development Team and Operations Manager to oversee the software quality control processes of Vantaca while continually improving the software functionality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for creation and execution of test strategies to include:
• Mobile device testing
• Automation for Web applications
• Manual testing as needed.
• Assist in efficiently testing applications to provide improved support for SDLC with an emphasis on Quality.
• Assist in Developing QA towards Quality Engineers and help grow technical abilities around automation and code development.
• Experience creating and developing test automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
• Write, modify, and execute test scripts
• Document software defects using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential problems.
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track success.
• Create and review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness, and to mitigate risk.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to developers and product manager on software usability and functionality.
• Create or maintain database of known test defects.
• Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source.
• Investigate customer problems referred by technical support.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related area or professional experience equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to perform with minimal supervision
• Exhibit leadership skills to coordinate personnel and projects on various levels
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and team building skills
• Demonstrated competence in QA related activities through education and experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with Azure DevOps for Automation Pipeline Execution
• Proficiency with the following:
• Selenium – C#
• Appium – C#
