Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a software developer with experience in C#, SQL Server, and related technologies, to join our integrations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing development tasks on time, troubleshooting issues, and documenting progress and scope changes in Jira. Additionally, the candidate will work to resolve defects found during sprints and develop unit tests to validate development and protect against future defects.

The ideal candidate should have experience working on large applications with complex business logic and dependencies across multiple processes and adhere to best practices and SOP standards. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, accounting systems, third-party identity management integration, SQL performance tuning, Azure APIs, JavaScript Frameworks, Event Listeners, RabbitMQ, and microservices would be a plus. The candidate should be able to participate in technical support ticket bashes, add to and update documentation, and keep the Software Engineering Manager up to date on progress and barriers during sprints.

Responsibilities

• Complete development tasks on time with exceptional attention to quality, performance, best practices, and SOP standards.
• Troubleshoot issues and help define solutions to these issues.
• Document progress, discussions, and scope changes in Jira.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies.
• Add to and update GetGuru documentation.
• Participate in technical support ticket bashes when necessary.
• Keep Software Engineering Manager up to date on all progress and barriers during sprints.
• Work to resolve defects found during sprints.
• Develop unit tests to validate development and protect from future defects.
• Work with third party partners to verify functionality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience using the following technologies: C#, SQL Server, MVC, JavaScript, JSON, GIT, Entity Framework, Postman, experience with APIs and API security.
• 5+ years of experience working on large applications with highly complex business logic and dependencies across multiple processes.

Nice To Have

• Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, accounting system experience, third party identity management integration, SQL performance tuning, Azure APIs, JavaScript Frameworks, Event Listeners, RabbitMQ, and micro services experience.

Core working hours are always agreed upon with your Direct Supervisor.
