What we are looking for:

We are hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to contribute to our rapid product development pace. Our Engineers work collaboratively to set the technical direction for our SaaS products, developing easy-to-use solutions for our customers.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves to turn ideas into code, has a passion and commitment to quality software, loves learning new and emerging technologies, and is driven to help build a successful SaaS product used by thousands of happy businesses to make their mark at implementing a full test automation strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, own and expand a modern test automation framework for a fully SaaS high volume product.
• Plan, prioritize and automate the testing of new product features as part of our user story-driven, Agile/Scrum software development process.
• Collaborate closely with our software developers, UX designers and Product Managers to resolve issues discovered during testing.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure preparedness for each software release.
• Assist in backlog grooming for upcoming development sprints.
• Encourage and advocate team ownership of software quality and adoption of test automation.
  
  

Skills & Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 3 - 6+ years of experience in Automated Software Testing, Cloud computing or related fields.
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience in implementing automation with a modern framework such as TestNG, Rest Assured, Selenium/Capybara, JUnit, Jasmine, Mocha, Cypress.
• A commitment to deliver quality, and an enthusiasm for testing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with development teams and product owners.
  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development process in a SaaS environment
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, Javascript/Typescript.
