WPM Real Estate Management is in search of an experienced Senior Regional Property Manager. In this position, you will manage a diverse residential portfolio of 5-10 assets. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Property Management and 5 years as an RPM. The candidate must have extraordinary verbal and written communication, as well as a meticulous eye for detail and professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directs and coordinates all activities of the properties in their portfolio to ensure that Company and/or owner's financial business objectives are achieved
  • Oversees implementation of comprehensive programs, initiatives, and strategies that promote the achievement of optimum performance by the properties within their portfolio
  • Oversees the work of Regional Property Managers, Senior Property Managers, and/or Property Managers who supervise on-site personnel
  • Responsible for developing budgets, monitoring actual performance against budget, and providing information to owners regarding the performance of their assets and the assets in their RPM's portfolios
  • Generates reports related to portfolio's performance, analyzes data, and communicates findings to relevant parties such as on-site teams, Executive Management, and investors
  • Maintains excellent relationships with owners, associates, applicants, visitors, and representatives of other companies
  • Performs standard supervisory functions including hiring staff, assigning/delegating work, providing feedback; and training/developing, disciplining and terminating staff
  • Models Company's Core Values for direct reports and other associates
  • Enforces Company policies and procedures
  • Coaches/mentors Regional Property Managers for success in all of the above within their respective portfolios
  • Provides Sr. RPM level approval of invoices and proposals ($2500 or greater) for properties as assigned
  • Provides comprehensive performance reports for each asset and their respective direct report assets on a biweekly basis
  • Represents President of Multifamily Real Estate in meetings, calls, etc. when they cannot be present, as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned, within reason and relevance to the position

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of property management accounting software and/or demonstrated proficiency to learn new software applications
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle required

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or other related field preferred
  • 10+ years experience in Property Management
  • 5+ years experience as a Regional Property Manager or Portfolio Manager
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience, with success in coaching, mentoring, and developing staff
  • Leadership in the industry, as demonstrated by industry certifications (e.g. ARM, CAM, or CPM) preferred
