About the Senior Project Manager role

 

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a journey to shape the global residential property management and technology industry. As part of Odevo’s Technology Change unit, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for planning and executing key technology enabled strategic initiatives to drive Odevo US value creation. In a decentralized setting you will work closely with the US management teams and Group Chief Product Officer to reach the goals of the US strategy program where technology is a key enabler. The Senior Project Manager is the one who operationally and strategically holds projects together working closely with product development teams and business stakeholders to secure successful business change and deliver excellent results.

 

Your initial primary focus will be to deliver two business critical projects for KWPMC.

  • The roll out of our own inhouse developed property management software solution to KWPMCs existing clients, in order to help clients and own staff to become even better at managing the properties we are responsible for. This is a high visibility role which requires close collaboration with customer facing staff. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the overall planning, quality and on-time delivery of the implementation and ensuring accuracy from start to finish.
  • End to end implementation of a new client accounting software. In this project, the Senior Project Manager will take the lead on formalizing goals and providing a winning project plan for the implementation of a third party – highly sophisticated – new customer accounting package. Work will be carried out in close collaboration with KWPMCs CFO and product development team to ensure successful business change.

Primary duties and essential functions are:

  • KWPMC project portfolio management: Establish a framework for selecting, prioritizing, and allocating resources to technology projects, ensuring strategic alignment, and maximizing value creation.
  • Project objectives & planning: For selected projects, develop project objective, scope, deliverables, and project plan to reach objectives.
  • Project Management – Driving delivery of agreed project plans and implementation projects streams. Refer and manage any changes to the scope of work and delivery schedule. Manage risks and issues and remove roadblocks.
  • Establish and sustain an effective governance framework for each project to ensure appropriate engagement with all relevant stakeholders, from steering group to team members, to ensure alignment and buy-in at every project phase as well as oversight and control over deliverables.
  • Communication – act as the principle point of contact for all project matters. The role is primarily autonomous as the Senior Project Manager should set his or her priorities and manage the project appropriately.
  • Participate to planning and prioritization of the migration of our customer portfolio to roll out our brand new, industry leading, digital property management platform.
  • Regular status reporting to the KWPMC CEO / CFO / COO and Group CPO, taking ownership for appropriately escalating issues where necessary.
  • Close collaboration with Odevo product development teams delivering the products / platforms and integrations that supports KWPMCs business change initiatives.
  • Work in partnership with finance, customer operations and product teams to ensure shared ownership for successful delivery to the customer.
  • Lead client projects through effective engagement and collaboration to ensure a common sense of purpose, an understanding of the key outcomes and how these will be achieved.

 

 

As the technology implementation program in KWPMC is completed you will move on driving other key value creation programs across Odevo US. You will leverage both your business acumen and leadership skills while at the same time delivering tangible business results. Required Skills, Education and Experience

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within customer delivery projects and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.

 

Experience from the property management / real estate / residential services industry will be considered an additional asset. Experience from working with modern product “agile mindset” development teams, driving projects with fixed scope and timelines. Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Location, Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a hybrid full-time exempt position. Our office is located in Doral Corporate Headquarters, in Miami, Florida. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the company.

 

Travel

Travel will be required to attend company meetings and trainings, as well as visit with partners throughout the US.
