Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key contributor in the financial planning and analysis process. This position will provide support during the month-end close and quarter-end & year-end reporting needs. Also, there will be active participation in the annual budgeting process and must be able to communicate with various departments & executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual external & internal reporting deliverables
- Able to research and analyze financial statements and general ledger reports
- Assist with annual forecasting and planning efforts
- Continually work on streamlining reporting and efficiency processes
- Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Support the VP of A&F, Controller, and executives with ad hoc research and analysis related to current and historical financial performance and future expectations of the Company as needed
Requirements
Education / Work Experience
- Bachelors degree is required with a focus in Accounting. MBA, CPA, or CFA a plus
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting
- Consolidations experience is a plus
- Experience with key financial statements is necessary, such as the balance sheet and income statement
Skills / Other Requirements
- Must have current knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles
- Solid understanding of the overall financial planning function and understanding of reporting processes and technology tools
- The ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives
- The ability to perform many complex and confidential tasks with speed and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to connect and build relationships with organization leadership and peers
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint are required
- Experience with Power Query, Microsoft D365 & OneStream a plus
