Pocono Ranch Lands, a gated community located near US Route 209 in Bushkill, PA, is home to approximately 750 homes.

Responsibilities (brief description):

  • Establish trusted reputation throughout the community as an effective listener, communicator, partner, and problem solver
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality of residents and employees
  • Patrol and safeguard Pocono Ranch Lands property and grounds
  • Respond immediately to suspicious incidents and activities
  • Function as First Responder to all emergency incidents
  • Field Homeowner and Property Owner calls
  • Perform House Checks, including wellness checks when necessary
  • Enforce Association By-Laws, Rules, Restrictive Covenants, and Construction Requirements
  • Enforce the community speed limit by using the radar unit
  • Escort EMS / Fire / PD within the community to expedite their arrival
  • Assist the Pennsylvania State Police
  • Prepare written incident / accident reports and citations
  • Check Public Safety Vehicles each shift to ensure they are properly maintained and serviced
  • Maintain vehicle daily log sheet
  • Ensure AEDs are tested daily and other medical supplies are kept up to date
  • Provide a weekly productivity report to the Community Manager
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Pennsylvania Act 235 Certification (within first six months)
  • CPR / AED / First Aid Certification (within first six months)
  • Strong decision-making skills and clear judgement in difficult situations
  • Composure in stressful emergency situations
  • Leadership in times of need or crisis
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must pass a rigorous background check
