Security Team Member

Lewellyn Park, located in West Orange, NJ is seeking a friendly and reliable security team member to join our team.

As a member of the security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our residents and property. You will be expected to communicate with residents in a courteous manner, respond effectively to any incidents, and take all necessary precautions to ensure the security of the community.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the property to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Respond to any security incidents, such as theft or damage to property, and report them to the management
• Maintain detailed reports of any incidents that occur on the property
• Monitor access points and check identification of all entering the property
• Assist residents with any security concerns or questions
• Work closely with the other members of the security team to ensure effective communication at all times
• Participate in the training of new security team members

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Able to communicate effectively with the public and respond to questions or concerns in a calm and professional manner
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be comfortable working in all types of weather conditions
• Must have a valid driver's license and SORA license

Benefits

Compensation depends on experience - up to $17 per hr
