Job Description
Security Attendant is to patrol the buildings and grounds of the Association and may maintainrecords of who enters or leaves the property, either at a front desk or a front gate. They may keep trackof signing visitors in and out and monitor incoming deliveries. Security Gate Attendants generally assistwith providing guests with information and directions.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
Make periodic tours to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire controlequipment.
Greet incoming guests and tenants, providing information regarding the site and surroundingarea as requested by visitors.
Guard and monitor premises to prevent theft, property destruction, violence or rules and safetyviolations.
Perform fire prevention, safety and maintenance tasks and parking/traffic enforcement.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Required.
2+ years of directly related or closely related experience.
Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
Professional customer service skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level.
Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
