The Golf Course Outside Services team is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the golf course facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Greet and assist golfers as they arrive, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. Address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Bag Handling: Assist golfers with their bags and equipment, including loading and unloading from vehicles and placing them on golf carts.
  • Cart Management: Maintain and organize golf carts, ensuring they are clean, properly stocked, and in good working condition. Provide instructions on cart usage and safety.
  • Course Maintenance: Assist with daily maintenance tasks such as raking bunkers, filling divots, and picking up litter to ensure the golf course is in pristine condition.
  • Tee Time Coordination: Manage tee time schedules, check in golfers, and provide information on course conditions and any relevant updates.
  • Pro Shop Support: Assist with stocking merchandise, managing inventory, and processing transactions when needed.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or golf course environment is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy items, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Minimum Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Language Skills

The individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels of the organization.

License/Permits/Certifications Required

  • Valid Driver’s License and State mandated vehicle insurance.

Availability

Weekends, Holidays, Evenings, Days and Monthly Rotating Schedule.
