Job Description

Associa Chicagoland is recruiting for a qualified Seasonal Maintenance Technician in the Chicagoland Suburbs.

Various maintenance duties depend on work orders received may consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Investigate, analyze, and repair minor electrical problems; including, but not limited to, changing photocells, repair or replacement of common area lights, timers, and telephone entry systems.
  • Investigate, analyze, and repair minor plumbing problems; including, but not limited to, repairing toilets, faucets, and irrigation systems.
  • Investigate, analyze, and repair minor carpentry problems; including, but not limited to, repair or replacement of lattice, shutters, screens, siding, cornice, signs, fences, and mailboxes.
  • Investigate, analyze, and repair other normal maintenance items; including, but not limited to, repairing window leaks, painting, repairing sheetrock, gutters, downspouts, drywall and troubleshooting leaks.
  • Drywall experience needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience in different phases of community or property maintenance.
  • Must have clean DMV.
  • Knowledge in all phases of basic construction and/or maintenance skills is needed.
  • Use your own tools, be timely, responsible, and have excellent communication skills.
