Sailing Instructor-Daybreak

The main role of the Sailing Instructor is to create memorable experiences for residents and guests by teaching sailing tutorials within our community.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Welcoming guests and offering sailing instruction
• Preparing classes that adapt to the needs and levels of all attendees
• Creating sailing schedules
• Setting up the sailing area and preparing boats and daily activities
• Ensuring sailing equipment is safe and well maintained
• Coordinating any needed repairs
• Assisting with training programs, light operations, and maintenance duties
• Helping to facilitate community events on the lake

What We’re Looking For

• At least 18 years old
• Excellent people skills with an upbeat personality
• High degree of customer service and effective communication skills
• Flexibility to work a seasonal schedule, May - August
• Able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn new tasks
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Community Information

Daybreak is a large scale master planned community nestled in the valley of the Wasatch Mountain Range. We currently have 3,745 homes and at build out will have 20,000. Daybreak has multiple parks and exciting amenities to keep our residents entertained. The new Trax route recently opened and provides public transportation right from Daybreak into Salt Lake City!
