Restaurant Supervisor and Events Coordinator - Seven Canyons (Sedona, AZ)
The Club at Seven Canyons, a private golf club and luxury residential community located within the striking red rock landscape of Sedona, Arizona is seeking a professional, enthusiastic and organized Restaurant Supervisor & Event Coordinator to join our fun, yet professional, close-knit team. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, a problem solver, and customer service-oriented, possessing excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently. This role will involve the supervising and training of staff to ensure the highest standards of service and quality of products are always maintained. This position also works directly with the F&B director, planning and coordinating all aspects of private events and meeting functions held at the club. This is a Private Luxury Club located in Sedona, AZ.

Work Performed:
- Responsible for maintaining all standard operating procedures and following club rules and regulations.
- Implementing work schedules according to business levels and monitoring staffing levels to maintain budget.
- Responsible for inventory management of beer, liquor, wine, and all non-alcoholic beverages.
- Assist in the development of wine and cocktail menus with the Director of F&B.
- Aide the Director of F&B in the engineering of menus.
- Responsible for maintenance of ordering of all necessary beverage, supplies, and linen.
- Responsible for adhering to budgets, revenue expectations, and service expectations.
- Maintain good working relationship with all staff members.
- Maintain professional relationship with members and their guests, working in tandem with the Director of F&B & Chef to achieve member/guest satisfaction.
- Assist in and monitor all staff training, (service, alcohol awareness, food safety) for front of house functions, including staff testing as needed.
- Execute special functions (tournaments, private parties, weddings, etc.) in accordance with the Director of F&B / Event Sales Manager.
- Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly dining areas and storage spaces.
- Be conversant with all liquor, fire and safety regulations as they apply to the operation of the clubhouse.
- Have a thorough knowledge of set up, layouts and maximum room configurations for a variety of banquet activities including weddings, member mixers, receptions and special events banquets.
- Act in a server, bartender, host, expediter role as needed.
- Clearly communicate with the Director of F&B /Event Sales Manager and front of house staff about upcoming events in order to ensure a social environment
- Perform all other responsibilities as directed by the Director of F&B / Event Sales Manager.
- Continue to elevate and refine steps of service in a manner that is elegant, concise, and easily followed by all F&B staff.
- Supervision Exercised:
Supervises servers, host persons, banquet staff and all others as directed by the Director of F&B /Event Sales Manager.
Supervision Received:
Director of F&B / Event Sales Manager & General Manager
Minimum Requirements:
- High School or GED, at least five years’ experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Must have the ability to write routine reports, correspondence and be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certifications preferred.
- Food handler’s and TIPS certification required (can obtain after hire within 90 days).
- Ability to work extended hours at times, including weekends.
