Action Property Management, the leader in community management, is seeking a full-time Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team at our luxury association, The Infinity, located in San Francisco.

 

Schedule: Open Availability; Consecutive Days Off To Be Determined

 

Compensation: $30.00 per hour + Benefits

Job Summary:

 

The Maintenance Technician, under the direction and supervision of the Building’s Chief Engineer, helps maintain and repair all common area property not maintained and repaired by a third party. The Maintenance Technician is a trained responder to property emergencies such as fire, floods, earthquakes, and other disasters and will be available for emergencies or overtime in special circumstances in order to complete projects or meet deadlines.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform general laborer work as assigned by the Chief Engineer such as loading, unloading, and moving materials, and running errands for the Engineering Department.
  • Perform drywall patching and painting of the common areas of the building as assigned by the Chief Engineer
  • Perform preventative maintenance as assigned by the Chief Engineer
  • Perform light electrical duties: changing light bulbs throughout the common areas and assisting in ballast change out’s with the Engineering team
  • Perform light common area plumbing duties including repairing common area restroom fixtures, unclogging P traps, and assisting in plumbing projects as assigned by the Chief Engineer
  • Perform light common area carpentry duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer
  • Perform light common area mechanical duties or assist the Engineering team in projects as assigned by the Chief Engineer
  • Perform light common area HVAC filter replacements, smoke alarm battery replacement, and minor repairs as scheduled and directed by the Chief Engineer.
  • Maintain preparedness for an emergency response to flood, fire, power outages, earthquakes, and other disaster situations

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 1 year of Maintenance Technician experience. High Rise Property Management or Hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
  • High Rise mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC experience desired
  • Fire Life Safety Certification is a plus
  • EPA/608 Universal License preferred
  • HVAC Certification preferred
