Job Description:

Supervisor of the Resident Services Department must have strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills, be detailed oriented and able to multitask. In this position you must have an approachable and friendly attitude, able to meet and greet residents, guests, and service providers. Able to recognize and react to emergency situations, monitor, and operate electronic security control systems and accurately maintain daily logs, records, and forms. Resident Services Department supervisor must have experience in management and training of team members to include cross training concierge, valet parking vehicles and receiving dock coordinator duties.

Position Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and training skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate work schedules to assure required coverage of various shifts within the Resident Services Department.
  • Monitor and train associates on emergency response systems.
  • Greet and welcome residents, guests, and invitees.
  • Ability to quickly remember and recall names and faces.
  • Monitor, control, and train associates on electronic security control systems.
  • Respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Supervise completion and maintenance of daily log reports, records, and forms.
  • Resolve and follow-up on complaint issues.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Attendance is required – even during severe weather and hazardous road conditions.
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Requirements

Education/Experience/Knowledge:

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Concierge and Valet experience required.
  • Typing and computer skills required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English required. Verbal Spanish language is a plus.
  • Strong customer service communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Valid driver license required.
  • Veteran and/or law enforcement background is a plus.

Special Requirements:

  • Ability to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to lift 25-30 lbs.
  • Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
  • Handle, grasp and lift objects and packages.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Communicate, receive, and exchange information by means of the spoken and written word.
  • Ability to quickly navigate the property and building as required to meet the job functions.
