We are seeking an experienced Reserve Study Analyst to join our growing Company. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analysis and developing reserve studies for community associations within our portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Review financial records, budgets, and governing documents to understand the client’s assets, expenses, and reserve funding plans.
  • Conduct on-site inspections of properties to evaluate the condition of major components like roofing, paving, mechanical systems, etc.
  • Interview board members and property managers to gather insights on replacement timelines, priorities, and future renovation plans.
  • Identify reserve components and determine remaining useful life based on site evaluation and established methods/standards.
  • Project future replacement costs for each reserve component considering inflation, local rates, etc.
  • Run reserve analysis models under different funding plan scenarios to determine ideal reserve contributions.
  • Present reserve study findings and suggested funding plans to boards and community managers.
  • Provide exceptional client service and account management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience conducting reserve studies, homeowner association management, property management, construction/project management, or cost-estimating.
  • Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients in person and via phone/email.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites when required.
  • Reserve Specialist (RS) and/or Professional Reserve Analyst designation a plus.
