Resale Disclosure Specialist

The Resale Disclosure Specialist is responsible for processing real estate disclosures and transfers of ownership across various communities in multiple states.

What You'll Accomplish

• Utilize community Accounts Receivable Information Sheets to ensure accuracy of disclosure information
• Process disclosure information via our technology partner RealPage (HomeWiseDocs)
• Process real estate closings by transferring current ownership or creating new owners in accounting system (VMS)
• Assign charges to owners in VMS with variety of frequencies (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual), ensuring compliance with community fee structure
• Communicate with title companies and clients regarding closing instructions and fees
• Deposit and scan community checks in a timely and accurate manner
• Mail or scan completed closing documents for community record retention

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or related field
• Excellent customer service, positive attitude, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
• Basic MS Excel skills; intermediate skill level preferred
