Job Description

Location: The applicant for this position could reside anywhere in the USA or Canada.

The Regional Vice President of Operations assists their Branch President's with day-to-day operations. The RVP of Operations serves as a performance-driven leader and mentor to the branches, as an operations liaison for the company and as an industry ambassador for Associa and its strategic interests/objectives. The RVP of Operations works with the Branch Presidents to develop and implement a variety of strategies to maximize profits while maintaining an acceptable level of quality, as well as work on improving the supply chain to positively impact variables such as cost, quality and delivery time. The Regional Vice President of Operations will provide oversight and guidance to their team, follow up on projects assigned to staff and stay up to date on their company's research and development efforts. They also need to provide timely feedback and guidance for both their team and to fellow executives on operations-related issues.

This is accomplished by:

  • Embodying Associa's Mission and Company Values
  • Assessing, selecting, and developing "raise the bar" talent
  • Defining and implementing strategic direction
  • Driving and monitoring key business driver results via the branch Balanced Scorecards
  • Developing new resources and revenue streams
  • Motivating and empowering branch teams to achieve success, as measured via the Balanced Scorecard
  • Develop, monitor and administer financial program to maintain efficient, quality services.
  • Leading the alignment of people, systems, process and culture in our integrated client delivery model
  • Identifying organic and inorganic growth opportunities within the branch
  • Weekly travel will be required for the role.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • Masters Degree Preferred
  • 10+ years of directly related or closely related experience
  • 7 -- 10 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of sales, operations, and/or underwriting management
  • Knowledge of company budget and monthly performance reporting (DVR) proficiency
  • Knowledge of applicable state statutes
  • Knowledge of all Associa operating systems and programs preferred
  • Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at an expert level
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at an expert level
  • Project management at an expert level
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player
  • Professional customer service skills
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills
