Job Description

As a Regional HR Manager at Associa, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing human resources operations across our property management branches in the Florida region. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices within the property management industry. You will collaborate closely with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with our business objectives while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Although this position will be covering the Florida region, we are looking for a candidate that can be centrally accessible to our St. Petersburg, FL branch. Travel to other branches in Florida will be expected periodically, as needed.

Our Florida Regional HR Manager plays a crucial role in driving various aspects of the organization’s success, making a significant impact in several key areas:

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements. 
Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for new hires. 
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management , employee relations, and conflict resolution. 
Conduct regular training sessions for managers and employees on topics such as diversity and inclusion, employee relations, and HR compliance. 
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks. 
Collaborate with the corporate HR team to ensure consistency in HR practices and policies across all branches. 
Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement and make recommendations for strategic initiatives. 
Stay up-to-date on relevant employment laws and regulations, and ensure compliance at all times. 
Handle sensitive HR issues & escalations with professionalism and confidentiality. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field: Master’s degree preferred. 
Five plus (5+) years of HR management experience, preferably in the property management or rel estate industry. 
Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively in a complex environment. 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels of the organization. 
Expert level experience in Microsoft skills (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement. 
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred. 
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. 
Experience working with HRIS systems and other HR technology tools. 
Experience leading an HR team of five or more preferred. 
Ability to travel to various branches in Florida for meetings, events, or as needed (20% travel estimated).
