Job Description
Rancho La Quinta Country Club is looking for a full-time seasonal experienced and motivated Racquet Shop Coordinator, who will be responsible for assisting the Director with the daily operations of the Sports and Fitness area.
The Coordinator is responsible for match making, engaging with members daily, and assisting with activities/events and generating registration and digital marketing material. This includes tennis, pickleball, bocce ball, hikes, croquet, the pool and the fitness center.
Requirements
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Customer Service: answering phones, making phone calls and face to face interaction.
- Arranges daily matches for members, according to level pairings.
- Court reservation for matches.
- Ensure the racquet shop is clean and running smoothly.
- Create event registrations and marketing material for all events.
- Register members for all events, activities, and clinics.
- Assist with coordinating and promoting of club events, recruiting if needed.
- Make sure all policies are followed at the club by members.
- Conduct retail transactions and restock retail goods as needed.
- Record end of month inventory.
- Excel, Word, and computer knowledge.
- Other related duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
At least 2 years-experience in customer service. (Country Club or Hospitality Industry)
High School Diploma or GED.
Excel, Word, and Computer knowledge.
Administrative Experience. (Preferred)
Tennis or Pickleball player. (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time Seasonal
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience
