What we’re looking for:

The Product Operations Manager - Technology owns the Product Operations technology stack, including implementation, uptime, integration, optimization, and usage. This role will leverage the product development infrastructure (people, processes, and technology) to drive software development life cycle efficiencies. The Product Operations Manager - Technology will report to the VP, AI and Product Operations and work closely with Product, UX, QA, Engineering, IT, and Business Systems to plan, prioritize, optimize, and execute technical strategies across internal teams and the customer lifecycle.

Primary Areas Of Responsibility

  • Own and manage the product operations technology stack, including but not limited to SDLC automation, roadmap tools, analytics, and other product development tools.
  • Develop and implement product technology strategies that align with overall product and engineering goals and business objectives.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify and evaluate new technology solutions to drive efficiency for internal teams and enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, UX, QA, Engineering, Security, IT, Business Systems, and customer-facing teams, to ensure the product technology stack is integrated with other systems and processes to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitor product technology performance and usage metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Ensure/monitor system uptime, and help establish/follow downtime processes.
    • Appropriately escalate and communicate technical and operational issues that affect the extended org.
  • Provide training and support to the product development team on the effective use of product technology tools.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and technology partners, negotiating contracts and agreements alongside Procurement to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Maintain and radiate a passion for innovation, keeping on top of current best practices and implementing them to improve software development life cycle performance.

Must haves:

  • 5+ years of related product operations/technical experience helping manage, implement, configure, and optimize several technological platforms in concert with high-level strategies
  • BS degree (Engineering, MIS / IT / CS) or equivalent working experience.
  • Advanced experience with Software Development Life Cycle tools
  • Experience with any of the following platforms would be highly desirable:
    • Atlassian products like Trello & JIRA
    • SalesForce
    • Github
    • CircleCi
    • Intercom
    • Coda
    • Roadmunk
    • Pendo
    • UserVoice
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resilient and adaptive in challenging situations.
  • Keen ability to create processes and drive efficiency.
  • Ability to assimilate complex concepts and articulate business value.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent writer and communicator (in both written and verbal form)

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary/hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $108,000 -$162,000.

The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.

Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
