Job Description

Full time Porter / Maintenance Technician opening at Heritage Harbour.

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm with some weekend hours.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Punch in, Check calendar for today’s setups. Print setups.
  • Check front walk. Blow leaves/debris, Check for ice patches. Empty ashtray. Seasonal duties.
  • Check restrooms / locker rooms for any thing out of the normal and supplies.
  • Dust mop activities room and Auditorium.
  • Clean tables and organize chairs.
  • Vacuum carpeted areas, trash and recycling removal from all rooms.
  • Change light bulbs and report when ballast are out.
  • Pressure washing pool and outdoor areas and indoor locker rooms.
  • Setup for resident events, stacking chairs, setting tables and ping pong tables.
  • Following room setup forms and complete setups on time.
  • Watching inventory and checking stock of cleaning supplies.
  • General cleaning in bathrooms and mopping areas as needed.
  • Cleaning and restocking woodshop cleaning supplies.
  • Keeping maintenance room clean and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 2+ years of related porter / maintenance experience.
  • Customer service driven, team oriented.
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
