The position is part-time with competitive pay.

Position Summary

The Pool Monitor is responsible for overseeing the pool area to ensure residents and guests comply with HOA rules and safety guidelines. This role is not a lifeguard position but focuses on maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful environment at the community pool.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and verify residents and their guests using pool facilities.
• Enforce HOA pool rules and regulations in a courteous but firm manner.
• Monitor pool area for unsafe behavior, unauthorized users, or emergencies.
• Report maintenance issues, vandalism, or violations to the management team.
• Ensure pool furniture is organized, and the area remains clean and free of debris.
• Check restrooms periodically for cleanliness and supplies.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate shift logs as needed.
• Open and/or close the pool facilities following proper procedures.
• Any other duties assigned by Management.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Previous customer service or pool monitoring experience is a plus.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred but not required.
  
  

Working Conditions

• Outdoor environment in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Shifts may include weekends, holidays, and evenings.
