Pool Attendant – Poinciana Villages

Job Profile

Overview of Role:

The Pool attendant is responsible to oversee the pool area, make safety announcements and maintain an inventory of all poolside equipment to be available for guest use at all times. Will serve residents by providing information and services. Must be experienced in the Hospitality Industry. The ideal candidate has a Lifeguard Certification, and is skilled in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue.

What you will be doing? (Some of your main responsibilities include):

• Maintains constant surveillance of guest in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guest in the event of emergency.
• Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.
• Must be able to submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Must have the ability to work as a team member.
• Must be accessible to and approachable with residents/guests.
• Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.

Schedules: Rotating schedule due to being open 7 days a week.
