Job Title:Pool Attendant

Location: Residential Community
Schedule: Thursday to Monday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and dedicated Pool Attendant to oversee the pool area, ensure guest safety, and perform light janitorial tasks. The Pool Attendant will supervise swimming activities, enforce pool regulations, and maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the pool and surrounding facilities. The position will have a full-time schedule and will work for the season, March 31st to September 4th.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor pool area and enforce safety regulations for residents.
- Provide exceptional guest service, following HOA standards and ensuring satisfaction.
- Greet all guests, assist with seating, and provide towels and other services as needed.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of pool facilities, including pool dimensions and lap measurements.
- Address and resolve resident requests and complaints, escalating issues to the Community Manager when necessary.
- Report any safety hazards, injuries, equipment issues, or defects to supervisors immediately.
- Ensure cleanliness of the pool area, including sweeping and watering down the pool deck, straightening furniture, and removing trash or soiled towels.
- Set up the pool area in the morning, ensuring all furniture and equipment are in the correct places.
- Perform light janitorial duties to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Requirements

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous experience as a Pool Attendant or Lifeguard preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, move, and arrange pool furniture.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
Candidate Requirements:
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential to ensure consistent coverage of the schedule.
