Through sound judgement and analytical decision-making, the Director of Business Development acts as a compass of our motto and, under the guidance of the Seabreeze leadership team, oversees our entire growth strategy.

 

With sound industry knowledge, the Manager of Business Development looks to implement best practices and achieve new levels of personalized service. The Manager of Business Development will partner with the SVP on all business development activities of DesertBreeze, a subsidiary of Seabreeze. The Manager will help to develop key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to achieve sales goals. Responsible for partnering to plan and implement short and long-term targeted marketing strategies toward existing and new markets in the Arizona area. The Manager will be both internal and external-facing and is required to develop exceptional relationships to further that will help further brand recognition. Travel is required.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and penetration of new markets.
  • Establish strong relationships with all prospective clients and follow up on leads.
  • Understand, analyze, and report current and projected revenue trends to the SVP.
  • Have a deep understanding of the community management industry and the services we offer.
  • Present the marketing plan to prospective associations.
  • Foster a productive and empowering working culture.
  • Contribute to the growth of the brand through business growth by identifying new and innovative opportunities.
  • Develop strategy and tactics for prospective clients to want to do business with Desert Breeze.
  • Partner with planning and creative agencies to work on existing or new business opportunities.

 

Requirements

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of community association and/or property management experience.
  • Effectively coordinate multiple projects, use time management skills, and exercise independent judgment.
  • Proficient using MicroSoft office products and tools
  • Strong internal/external customer relation skills to communicate with all levels of management, employees, homeowners, and other stakeholders.
  • Work with confidential/sensitive information and use diplomacy and discretion in communicating such information.
  • Effective follow-up skills.
  • Professional image or business image, per policy, as well as personal etiquette.
  • Organizational, planning, project management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effectively and efficiently handle priorities and deadlines.
  • Meet scheduling and attendance requirements, per policy.
  • Strong attention to detail.

 

Minimum Education

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • CCAM® designation or CMCA® designations desired.

 

Language Skills

 

The individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels of the organization.

 

Availability

 

Regular business hours and must be available for Board meetings after regular business hours, as necessary.
