Summary
Keep building in clean and orderly condition. Perform cleaning and activity set up duties, removing rubbish. Duties may include tending to park areas, activity setup, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning debris from sidewalk and pool areas.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Assist maintenance manager with routine scheduled: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly inspections of the clubhouse and guardhouse.
- Assist in performing preventative maintenance in accordance with the maintenance schedule developed.
- Basic repairs and maintenance.
- Perform parks, dog park and grounds maintenance.
- Set-up and take-down tables for events.
- Perform custodial/janitorial duties in clubhouse and guardhouse (assist as needed).
- Report to Maintenance Manager to maintain building, common areas and other physical assets on the property.
- Assist with duties related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, dry wall, pressure washing, and any other maintenance needs related to the designated property.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience:
1 – 2 years of janitorial experience
Language Skills
The individual must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the functions of this job. Frequent stooping, standing, walking, sitting and reaching are required.
- Ability to bend/lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to move 15 lbs. of force frequently and 20 lbs. of force occasionally.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbally & in writing).
- Ability to operate necessary equipment & visually interpret data.
- Inside environmental elements mostly, walking between buildings outside.
- Repetitive movements.
License/Permits/Certifications Required
- Valid driver’s license and State mandated vehicle insurance.
Availability
Part-Time up to 30 hours week
