Job Description

Taylor Management is currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Lifestyle Director to join our team. As a Lifestyle Director, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating social activities for the benefit of the association and its residents. You will work closely with committees, clubs, and other groups to ensure that their needs and interests are met.

As part of the Taylor Management team, you will have the opportunity to create and implement exciting events and programs that will enhance the quality of life for our residents. You will have the flexibility to explore new ideas and introduce new activities that will keep our community engaged and entertained.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent communication skills and has a friendly and helpful manner when interacting with residents.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Propose, organize, and facilitate ongoing events and activities for the community
  • Work closely with committees, clubs, and other groups to understand their needs and interests
  • Schedule and coordinate all ongoing activities
  • Plan and organize special events, parties, programs, and day trips in collaboration with residents
  • Contact performers, negotiate and prepare contracts, and make necessary arrangements for programs
  • Publicize all activities and events and maintain a calendar of events
  • Design event flyers and send e-blasts regarding events
  • Explore new ideas and introduce new activities that will interest the residents
  • Maintain association social activity accounts and prepare monthly financial reports for various activity accounts
  • Participate in social committee meetings and prepare monthly reports to the Manager/Lifestyle Supervisor
  • Oversee room setups for events and perform other assigned activities as necessary for the smooth operation of the association
  • Maintain the community calendar with clubs, private events, etc
  • Work directly with the community manager and provide assistance in learning various games
  • Assist with new homeowner orientation and clubhouse tours
  • Fitness classes 3x a week for 45 Minutes
  • Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Friendly and helpful manner in interactions with residents
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Appropriate dress for an informal business environment (no T-shirts or jeans)
