Leasing Specialist – HOHM Highlandtown Apartments | WPM

At WPM, our Leasing Specialists play a vital role in turning apartments into homes. As a Leasing Specialist, you will lease apartments to prospective residents through excellent customer service and strategic marketing of the property. You’ll guide prospects through the application and rental process, maintain high standards of customer satisfaction, and help foster a vibrant community for our residents.

This position is ideal for individuals with experience in customer service, sales, and marketing who enjoy helping people find their perfect home. Leasing Specialists receive competitive base pay, plus the opportunity to earn commission!

Schedule: 16 hours per week, with Saturday availability from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $20/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Greet residents and prospective residents warmly
• Guide prospects through the application and rental process
• Conduct tours of model and vacant apartments
• Maintain a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction
• Address residents’ wants, needs, and concerns
• Plan resident appreciation events
• Market the property and post ads on designated platforms
• Think creatively to resolve resident issues and enhance community experience
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Present a positive and professional image in appearance, demeanor, and dress
• Proficient with PC operations and ability to learn new software quickly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Demonstrated sales skills with ability to overcome objections
  
  

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• NALP Certification preferred
• Prior leasing and/or sales experience preferred
