Job Description

The Operations Sr. Manager oversees the production of ACS Branch services. They are responsible for monitoring the needs and supporting the relationship with the Marriott Corp Finance and Accounting Leads, the property Residential Leaders, and the CSSC and ACS teams. They oversee interactions with various CSSC departments, such as AP, Remittance, Settlements, DMO, and Banking, and act as peers to the CSSC Sr. Managers and Directors. They must ensure that the company’s products meet or exceed clients’ or customers’ expectations and that their team operates smoothly and effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the needs and support the relationship with the Marriott Corp Finance and Accounting Leads, the property Residential Leaders, and the CSSC and ACS teams.
  • Ensure ACS processes are efficient, straightforward, integrated well, and executed timely, consistently, and accurately by the ACS team.
  • Supervise interactions with various CSSC departments, such as AP, Remittance, Settlements, DMO, and Banking, and act as peers to the CSSC Sr. Managers and Directors.
  • Ensure that the company’s products meet or exceed clients’ or customers’ expectations and that their Team operates smoothly and effectively.
  • Initiate and execute continuous improvement initiatives to ease processing and reduce errors, omissions, and issues.
  • Manage the budget and may be involved in establishing sales and profit goals.
  • Monitor and manage operational costs.
  • Make personnel decisions after consulting the CSSC senior leadership regarding hiring, compensation, promotions, discipline, and termination of operational support staff following company policies.
  • Manage the department's day-to-day operations.
  • Support and facilitate efforts to grow the Hospitality Residential Service line of business.
  • Establish regular communication with property leaders to gauge success and address opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of sales and operations.
  • Knowledge of company budget and monthly performance reporting proficiency.
  • Knowledge of applicable state statutes.
  • Knowledge of all Associa operating systems and programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at an expert level.
  • Willingness to develop Community Association Management knowledge.
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms at an expert level.
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at an expert level.
  • Project management at an expert level.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 7 - 10 years of directly related or closely related experience
  • 5– 7 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience
